Otherwise, you can measure the circumference of the finger on which you want to wear the ring with the help of a string or a thin tape, marking the point where it meets around the finger with a marker and then laying it against a ruler; be careful to take the measurement at the exact position on your finger that you will wear the ring, also making sure that the string loop runs smoothly along the entire length of your finger.
