On 19 June, at the impressive Loggia Rucellai in Florence, Giovanni Raspini presented Obelisk, a collection of art and design objects dedicated to the home. Twenty-one unique pieces, made in the form of an obelisk, tell a new creative vision, balancing the past and the present.
These 'table obelisks' reinterpret one of the most iconic symbols of ancient architecture, embellished with carved bronzes, semi-precious stones and selected gems. Each artefact is the result of fine craftsmanship, combining the lost-wax casting technique with rare materials such as quartz, jasper, sodalite and labradorite.
Obelisk is much more than a collection: it is an aesthetic journey that explores light, material and the deeper meaning of obelisks. It is a tribute to history, viewed through a contemporary perspective, in which art, jewellery and decoration coexist in perfect harmony.
Giovanni Raspini's creative universe is reflected in every detail: from animalier motifs to formal balance and even micro-sculptures that are collector’s pieces in their own right. Among the most representative works are the Pasha's Rhinoceros Obelisk, the Sea Creatures Obelisk and the Triton Obelisk, perfect examples of symbolic and narrative design.

The presentation event of these wonderful sculptures took place with an exclusive cocktail at the Loggia Rucellai, the beating heart of the Giovanni Raspini Design universe. In a charming atmosphere, friends and guests of the maison enthusiastically welcomed the new design project, sharing a moment of authentic beauty through art, design, and a convivial atmosphere.
