On Thursday 4 December, Giovanni Raspini presented the 'Equus' exhibition at the Il Bargello art gallery in Siena: fourteen bronze sculptures dedicated to the equestrian world, a powerful homage to the city of the Palio and its symbolic imagery.
Produced using the lost-wax casting technique, which Giovanni Raspini masters with great skill, the works establish a dialogue between classicism and contemporaneity, playing on textures, patinas, and volumes that enhance the dynamic beauty of the animal.
The inauguration, which took place in the spaces in Via di Città 88, where the works could be purchased, drew a large and enthusiastic audience, confirming the appreciation for the sculptural skills of the Giovanni Raspini team.
