Origins

Giovanni Raspini's history tells the tale of an architect with a passion for design and fashion who, by means of his own entrepreneurial spirit, lay the foundations for transforming an ordinary goldsmith's workshop founded in 1972 into what is today a modern and competitive brand with retail outlets across Italy and Europe. From the outset, meticulous attention to detail in each stage of the manufacturing process and a recognisable, ever-changing style have been the key elements that continue to make the brand the success it is today.

New perspectives

The '90s were a time of significant change for the Tuscan company: Charms, dinnerware and desk silverware became more and more prominent in the brand's product range. At the end of this decade, Giovanni Raspini created several iconic homeware pieces. The Daisies photo frames perfectly embody the company's style and became a bestseller, bringing the brand into thousands of homes in Italy and beyond.

However, the transformation of the company reached its height in the new millennium. Giovanni Raspini began to design and produce jewellery pieces that have evolved into more elaborate models, seeking to achieve a signature, distinctive style, beginning with Charms.

Rome and Milan are the first cities to witness the opening of single-brand shops in the most prominent design and fashion streets, continuing the search for an unmistakable identity that meets the needs of an increasingly loyal and enthusiastic clientele. This path has led to the opening of 25 boutiques in Italy and Europe, and in 2017 Giovanni Raspini made its debut in London, following Montecarlo.

Over the last decade, the company's efforts have touched on many fronts: from the never-ending search for the finest raw materials to the study of designs and always current commercial proposals, not to mention the birth of the e-commerce website and the expanding investment of energy and resources to compose a fascinating and contemporary communication strategy. Giovanni Raspini has always placed people at the centre of his world, whether they are customers or collaborators, looking towards the future and enthusiastically accepting its challenges and possibilities.
